Taylor Gregg
For years, Taylor has worked with children and families affected by the foster care system, and over and over again, she has seen a gap in support services. Since her personal mission has always been to be a “gap filler” - to see a need and then to meet the need - it was easy to get on board with Foster Village to bridge gaps and advocate for changes for families.
Taylor graduated from Texas Christian University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development, and then went on to complete a Master of Science in Complex Developmental Trauma in 2019. During her time in college, she worked in a group home for children in foster care requiring specialized placement, and spent time in a supervisor role. She also worked with a public health agency to provide in-home behavior management intervention for children and youth and their parents. Taylor is trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention, TARGET, PAYA, ART, and Nurturing Parent curriculums.
Taylor grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in 2014. She fell in love with Texas and made the move to Austin to join the Foster Village team in August 2021. Taylor’s family has always been a priority for her, and they are her biggest support system. She’s also found a secondary family in her close friends and church community. She loves being outdoors, and whether she’s hiking, camping, or out in the water, she finds a sense of peace and calm just being in nature. Taylor also enjoys traveling and expanding her worldview through experiencing other cultures.
