Jennifer Houssian
Resource Center Manager - South
Jennifer graduated from Utah State University in 1995 with a degree in Family and Human Development, specializing in Child Development. Originally from a small town outside of Boise, Idaho, Jennifer relocated to Dripping Springs, Texas, in 2013, where she continued to embrace her commitment to caring for children and families within her community.
Jennifer enjoyed her time as a PreK teacher for the Head Start Program and later transitioned to roles at Dripping Spring ISD, serving as both a substitute teacher and front office staff.
She welcomed her oldest son into her family through adoption when he was three weeks old. This experience ignited her passion for supporting vulnerable children and families, leading her to become involved with Foster Village as a volunteer.
Jennifer spends lots of time with her family, including her husband of over 30 years and their six boys, and she cherishes being a grandmother. Jennifer is an avid reader, and enjoys morning hikes, swimming laps at the YMCA, wakeboarding with her family, and having lunch with friends. She also loves working with children and teenagers at her church, particularly her delightful class of 5-year-olds.
