Audrey Vivar
Director of Development
Audrey is a passionate philanthropic leader with years of experience in grant management, fundraising, and strategic development for nonprofits. She is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families, particularly in low-income communities. Before joining the team at Foster Village, she spent nearly eight years at The Salvation Army Austin, where she played a key role in supporting programs that address family homelessness—helping prevent family separation and reduce the likelihood of children entering the foster care system.
A proud first-generation college graduate and native Austinite, Audrey earned her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin. She considers it a profound honor to serve the community she grew up in, utilizing her skills in storytelling, project management, and donor engagement to create lasting impact. Audrey is also an active member of Austin Christian Church, serving as a leader and mentor since 2013. She loves reading, journaling, and writing, but she’s equally passionate about singing karaoke with friends and exploring Austin’s vibrant food scene.
